The Mevlevi Order is an order of Sufism that was founded in the late 13th century in Konya.  The followers are commonly called dervish and are particularly known for their whirling dances (sema) that they perform as a devotional act to God (dhikir). The sema represents a man’s spiritual ascent through mind and love to reach perfection. The programme commences with classical Turkish music performed by a traditional orchestra followed by the dancing ceremony (sema) in a beautifully restored 550 year old hamam.

We kindly request our guest to be ready 30 minutes prior to start time. Guests need to arrive promptly at the Show hall given by Tourkeystay, or the Show will proceed without them
