A great day trip to the beautiful Ceceva tea growing village first, followed by the Kamilet valley and reaching the 90 meters high Mencuna waterfall finally
We will start the day with a pick up from your hotel and drive to Ceceva village in Cayeli district of Rize city first. With 24 kms of distance to the city center this beautiful village is famous with its tea gardens and the only income of the locals is to grow tea.
We will next drive to Kamilet valley in 15 kms of Arhavi district of Artvin city which is the home to 11 thousand plant species approximately and is one of the richest basins of Turkey in terms of biological diversity.
We will walk in the valley and path ways and finally reach the Mencuna waterfall at the other side of Kamilet valley. The waterfall, formed by the merging of small streams born from the Arili mountains and pouring out from a height of 90 meters forms a 200 square meter lake at the base of the valley. One of the countless beauties of the Black Sea region, the white foams formed by the water flowing over the black rocks create a visual feast that is hard to forget. It is definitely a hidden natural beauty worth the road and climbing.
We will end our day by driving back to your hotel and dropping off after this beautiful full of nature Black Sea day.
