Start the day from Goreme village view point, continue with Kaymakli Underground city, Selime Monastery and with beautiful well-known Valleys
After you are picked up from your accommodation in Cappadocia, you will stop at top view point of Goreme Village first to see beautiful volcanic landscapes. Afterwards, we will head to the underground city of Kaymakli which is the largest underground city in the region. Kaymakli is a must-visit place if you travel to Cappadocia, dates back to Hittites and Persians Period in B.C 3000. Additionally, it was used by the Christians in the 4th century to protect themselves from the religious torture. The city was opened to the visitors in 1964. Then, we will continue our tour with Ihlara Valley which is one of the most well-known valleys in the region with its mesmerizing rock dwellings. After relishing the atmosphere of Ihlara, we will go to Selime Monastery which is one of the biggest religious structures in Cappadocia, dates back to as early as 8th century and hosted various civilisations such as Hittites, Selcuks, Persians, Byzantine, Danismendids and Ottoman Empire. Finally, we visit the Pigeon Valley which has a gorgeous panaromic view. The name derives from many pigeon houses which were carved into the rocks.
