Full day tour from Sanli Urfa to Mardin which is one of the most important ancient cities of Southeast Turkey becoming home to all religions for ages
We will begin our day early after breakfast at your hotel in Sanli Urfa and do 180 kms road trip to Mardin.
Arriving in Mardin we will start the trip by discovering the historical and natural values of the city which is very unique with lovely old-Arabic style houses. The houses are often decorated with intricate carvings. This is a very lively trading center with people coming from surrounding villages to buy and sell different items of the region. It is also a city that played an important role in the early development of Christianity.
We will then visit the Kasimiye madrasah just outside of town, built in the 15th century. Also take the time to visit, walk in its busy streets, bazaars and admire the stone works all around the town.
Lastly will visit the Mysterious Ulu Mosque and the Hatuniye Mosque and have some free time to wander around.
Finishing the day will drive back to Sanli Urfa and drop off at your hotel.
